An enchanting evening of the poetry & literature; OPUF Mushaira with Farhat Abbas

SHARJAH (UAE): The Overseas Pakistanis United Forum arranged a mushaira in tribute to the renowned Pakistani poet and writer Farhat Abbas Shah at the Pakistan Social Center in Sharjah. In addition to local poets, Muhammad Ali Fazl, hailing from Oman, was a special guest at this event. A substantial number of literature enthusiasts were in attendance, where the poets captivated the audience with their eloquent verses, eliciting rounds of applause.
The event was graced by the presence of Khalid Hussain Chaudhry, the President of Pakistan Social Center Sharjah, alongside Mian Munir Hans, Chairman of the Overseas Pakistanis United Forum, and Imad ul Malik, CEO of Sharaf Exchange, all of whom shared the stage.
During this occasion, Mian Munir Hans, representing the Overseas Pakistani United Forum, announced their commitment to hosting a significant annual event, which will include lectures and feature poets from around the world, including Farhat Abbas Shah and other notable institutions.
Muhammad Ali Fazal was honored with flower bouquets, recognizing his role as a distinguished guest. The recitation of Farhat Abbas Shah’s splendid speech was met with a thunderous applause from the audience, and his unique style of presenting poems and ghazals garnered substantial praise.
The event also witnessed the presence of Emra President Tariq Nadeem Sheikh and PFUJ President Khalid Malik, along with a considerable number of media representatives. The Mushaira was skillfully organized by the Chief Organizer, Malik Aslam, who, in addition to the poets, entertained the audience with his own distinct and captivating style, earning him resounding applause.
Local poets, including Rana Zaheer Mushtaq, Tabish Zaidi, Ayesha Ashi, Musrat Abbas, Abrar Umar, Adnan Manwar, Nasr Naeem, Hussain Nader, and Zoheer Nawaz Tanoli, showcased their diverse and unique poetry styles, providing additional entertainment for the audience.
