KARACHI: A retired government employee Yasmeen Nagori is allegedly accused of obtaining her job by forgery, corruption, and running an NGO in America despite government employment; anti-corruption Sindh has started an investigation.
The Sindh Government’s Anti-Corruption Department has initiated an investigation against Yasmin Nagori, a retired government employee from the Special Education Department.
The inquiry includes reviewing the accused’s international travel records, educational diplomas, and work history with the appropriate departments.
Despite working for the government, the suspect allegedly owns various businesses in America and manages an NGO called “Darwaish.” Which is a major violation of the Government Employment Act; moreover she has also obtained American citizenship during her Government employment.
Yasmin Nagori is being investigated by Khalid Mahmood Awan, the Complaint Cell In-Charge of the Sindh Government’s Anti-Corruption Establishment. The investigation will begin with the Yasmin’s initial job it is also suspected that she gained the position illegally.
Yasmin Naguri was also allegedly discovered to own three passports and counterfeit identity cards, confirming her involvement in fraudulent activities.
