KARACHI: Former High Commissioner of Pakistan to India Abdul Basit has said, Hostility: A Diplomat’s Diary on Pakistan-India Relations and More is not a memoir but a critical account of what happened in Pakistan-India relations during my eventful stint in New Delhi as Pakistan High Commissioner. He was speaking at his book launch that was jointly organized by the Pakistan Council on Foreign Relations (PCFR) and the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), here Saturday, says a Press release.
While addressing veteran diplomats and corporate executives at IoBM, Abdul Basit shared insights into the Pakistan-India relations that always attract global attention.
Present on the occasion were Talib Karim, President IoBM; Shahid Amin, former Ambassador and Chairman PCFR; and Ahsan Mukhtar Zubairi, Secretary General and CEO, PCFR.
The vote of thanks was presented by former Ambassador and Vice Chairman PCFR, Jamil Ahmed Khan (Sitara-i-Imtiaz).
