Min Yoon-gi, better known as Suga from BTS, is set to appear for a police investigation related to his recent DUI incident. According to Yonhap News, the police have finalized the schedule for the investigation, which will occur this week.
The 31-year-old rapper will follow standard procedures, avoiding weekend or nighttime summons. A police official confirmed coordination with Suga’s team for the investigation, which will explore various aspects of the drunk-driving case, including allegations that BIGHIT MUSIC downplayed the situation.
Initially, the company described the vehicle involved as an electric kickboard rather than a scooter, but the police have indicated a thorough investigation into these details.
Suga, currently on hiatus due to his military service in South Korea, was charged with DUI on August 6 after an incident where he fell from his electric scooter while intoxicated. A police officer who arrived at the scene detected alcohol on Suga’s breath, and a breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.227%, well above the legal limit.
