As reported by Allkpop, a prominent BTS fan account, ARMY52Hz, has decided to shut down after the rapper’s incident involving an electric scooter.
ARMY52Hz, which had been a major fan platform providing updates and content for millions of BTS fans worldwide, shocked the fandom by announcing its closure in a final post. The site’s operator stated, “Everyone is suffering. We ask for a quick decision,” before deactivating all associated accounts, including their website and social media.
Fans expressed their reactions online, with one user on X (formerly Twitter) writing, “A dedicated account posted about the SUGA incident, and now their website and Twitter account are gone.” Another added, “It’s time to stop idolizing and focus on living a better life. The deeper one goes into idol fandom, the worse it seems.”
Additionally, protest trucks demanding Suga’s removal from BTS have been spotted in Seoul. Despite the controversy, HYBE, BTS’s management company, dismissed these rumors as “nonsense”.
