BUK hosts 6th Iqbal Conference

KARACHI: Bahria University Karachi hosted the 6th Iqbal Conference on November 19, 2024, at Al-Beruni Auditorium, BUKC, themed “Every Individual Shapes the Nation’s Destiny: Iqbal’s Call for Individual Responsibility & Collective Progress,” says a Press release.
The conference explored Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s philosophy on personal and national development, with renowned scholars, policymakers, and practitioners discussing Iqbal’s vision, its relevance, and strategies for promoting individual responsibility and collective progress.
The distinguished guests included Ghulam Abbas Zaboli, Vice Consul General of Iran, as Guest of Honor, Dr. Irfan Hyder, VC Salim Habib University, as Keynote Speaker, and panelists Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, VC NED University, Dr. Ameena Murad, Iqbal Specialist, Dr. Kiran Bashir, Principal IPP-BUKC, Dr. Adnan Kudiya, Motivational Speaker, and Dr. Mustaghis ur Rehman, Moderator.
The conference aimed to foster self-awareness, moral courage, and social cohesion, inspiring individuals to drive social transformation and contribute to national prosperity.
