ISLAMABAD: The Universal Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee was observed throughout the country Sunday with religious and national spirit, devotion and respect on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to lodge protest against destruction of holy shrines of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zehra (S.A.), Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.), Ummahatul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.), Hazrat Aisha (R.A), Hazrat Hafsa (R.A.), Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.), Hazrat Usman (R.A.), Aaimma Ahle Bait (A.S.), Sardar-e-Jannat Imam Hassan (A.S.), Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.), Imam Baqar (A.S.), Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah on 8 Shawal, 1926. Like all cities, towns and villages of Pakistan, protest rallies were also taken out in America, Britain, Canada, Italy, Greece, Middle East, Africa, and Australia.
The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi addressing the mourners in this connection said, said that attack on the shrine of Omar Bin Abdul Aziz is the continuation of Inhidam Jannatul Baqeee and is an inhuman act. The terrorist ideology of destruction of holy shrines of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A), Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.), Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Ummahatul Momineen (R.A.) is now spread all over the world. Muslim rulers should come out of deep slumber. He said had the Muslim Ummah took a wise step against the desecration of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Muallah then the satanic terrorists would not have the courage today to commit humiliation of the shrines of Mashaheer-e-Islam in any part of the world.
The TNFJ chief said it is tragic that places of worship of the aggressors against Islam were protected as universal heritage by all symbols of Islamic heritages are being wiped out. He said everyone should keep in mind not to forget the divine warning of those who remain silent on the demolition of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Muallah that whoever is silent on the blasphemy of the celebrities of Islam will also deserve the same punishment which is the destiny of the oppressors. And the end of the oppressors is nothing but disgrace. He said it is tragic that The World Heritage Day is celebrated on April 18 every year, but in the same month of April, no one has spoken out against the trampling of the entire history of Muslims, because the Muslims themselves have never raised their voice for the restoration of their monuments. He said restoration of the dignity of Shajar-e-Rasool (SAAW), the place of birth of the Rasool (SAAW), places of Companions and all the memories and symbols of the Nabavi era is not the issue of any single country or a Maktab but that of the whole humanity and the Islamic World.
The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said the government under the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement is under the obligation to put pressure brotherly country of Saudi Arabia on diplomatic level for the reconstruction of holy shrine of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zehra (S.A.), Aimma Huda (A.S.), Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) Ummahatul Momineen (R.A.), Sahaba Kubaar (A.S.) and other great personalities of Islam and get their dignity restored so as to remove the unrest found in the ranks and files of the world of humanity and the Muslim Ummah.
Meanwhile, protest rallies were taken out and Majalis-e-Aza were held and protest mourning processions were taken out in all big and cities and towns on this occasion.
In Rawalpindi, the central Matmi protest demonstration was taken out from Imambargah Nasir Al-Aza, Murree Road. They lodged strong protest on the dilapidated condition of Jannatul Baqee while Matmi Halqas presented pursa to the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) on the destruction of holy shrines of his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.), Ummahatul Momineen (R.A.), and Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.).
The protest rally among others was led by Ulema Karam belonging to different schools of thought, office-bearers of TNFJ and other subordinate bodies, provincial, regional and district elite, leaders and Matmi Salars of religious organizations. The participants of the rally were raising slogans against the destruction of holy shrines and in favour of restoration and reconstruction of the same while hundreds of minor workers of Mukhtar Generation and youth of Ibrahim Scouts were carrying the Shabih of Jannatul Baqee and placards inscribed with different slogans. The participants of the procession marched towards Committee Chowk through marching the Murree Road performing Matamdari and Noha-Khwani where it took the shape of a grand rally.
Addressing the rally, TNFJ Central Spokesman Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi presented the special message of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. He said every Kalma-reciting Muslim is grieved on the incident of Inhidam Jannatul Baqee. He also got approved a few resolutions while raising vociferous slogans in which they demanded restoration of dignity of the holy shrines, to declare the combined heritage of the Islamic World Makkah Mukarramah and Medinah Munawwarah as international cities, get stop oppression in Palestine, Burma and Held Kashmir, strict implementation of National Action Plan so as to wipe out terrorists completely.
The participants of the procession expressing complete faith in the leadership of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, reiterated their resolve to continue supporting his every call and offer any sacrifice for the rights of the Maktab-e-Tashih, protection of the righteous beliefs, promotion of oneness and brotherhood, and for the supremacy of the religion and the motherland. Later, the rally terminated at Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain after passing through its traditional route where special prayers marked the conclusion of the rally. Mukhtar Force volunteers escorted the rally throughout while District Administration had made fool-proof arrangements en route the rally. Police officers and jawans remained with the rally throughout.
In Federal Capital Islamabad, the protest procession was taken out by TNFJ District Islamabad Universal Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee Committee from Imambargah Darbar Sakhi Mahmood Badshah. The rally was led by Ulema Karaam and religious elite belonging to different schools of thought. TNFJ Secretary General Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Zulfiqar Ali Raja, Prof Ghulam abbass Haideri, Makhdoom Iltija Hussain Naqvi, Tabeer Kazmi, Taseer Kazmi, Fayyaz Kazmi, Farhat Hussain Shah, G.M. Kazmi, Zawwar Hussain Kazmi, Zahid Hussain Gardezi, Syed Nawazish Ali Naqvi and others also addressed the rally while convener of the District Jannatul Baqee Committee Raja Zulfiqar Ali thanked the participants of the rally and the administration.
Later the rally terminated at Darbar Sakhi Mahmood Badshah where special prayers were offered to mark the conclusion of the rally.
Meanwhile according to reports reaching the offices of Universal Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee Committee, the protest rallies were also organised and Majalis-e-Aza were held in Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi, Chakwal, Attock, Fateh Jang, Pindi Gheb, Taxila, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sargodha, Larkana, Faisalabad, Quetta, Jhelum, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Gilgit-Baltistan, Bagh, Gujrat, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Kohat, Nowshera, Lalamusa, and Khairpur Mirs.
Meanwhile, Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee programmes were also held in an main cities of countries including New York, Washington DC, Otawa (Canada), in front of Saudi Embassy in London (Britain), Greece, Germany, South Africa, and Australia.
