KARACHI: A condolence reference was held in the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi in memory of the high-ranking military commanders and Iranian nuclear scientists who were martyred in the Israeli attack on Iran, says a Press release.
In addition to Karachi’s renowned Shia and Sunni scholars, university teachers and researchers, political and social figures, Advisor of the Governor of Sindh Mustafa, Sindh Government Spokesperson Syeda Tahseen Abidi, Sadia Gohar from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and diplomats from Iraq, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, etc., participated.
Iran’s Acting Consul General in Karachi, Wahid Asghari, welcomed all the guests and thanked the entire Pakistani nation, government, Parliament of Pakistan, especially the Sindh Government and the people of Sindh for expressing solidarity with Iran on every platform in the Iran-Israel war and supporting Iran’s position.
He said very clearly that Iran and Pakistan are two important and powerful countries in the region and the historical, cultural, political and religious ties between them are not hidden from anyone and due to these relations, these two countries have supported each other’s point of view on every platform in the world.
The guests also recorded their feelings and emotions in the condolence book.
