BADIN: Deputy Commissioner Badin, Yaser Bhatti, along with SSP Badin Shiraz Nazir, reviewed security arrangements for processions held across different cities in the district during the Chehlum of the Martyrs of Karbala.
During this time, they visited the area of Agham Kot near Golarchi, Talhar, and Gulab Laghari, where they assessed security measures for the processions and gatherings at the Dargah Masooma-e-Sindh Bibi Maham (SA) (Hazrat Khadija binte Imam Musa Kazim (AS). The organizers expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements.
On the instructions of SSP Badin Shiraz Nazir, strict security measures were put in place across the district for the Chehlum of the Martyrs of Karbala. Over 900 police officers, personnel, and female police officers were deployed for various processions and gatherings in the district.
In addition, 7 DSPs, 78 non-gazetted officers, 450 police personnel, and 13 female police officers were deployed. Moreover, 7 reserve platoons were kept on standby at the Police Headquarters in Badin to deal with any untoward incidents.
Deputy Commissioner Badin Yaser Bhatti inspected the Safe City Project control room at the Matli Police Station, where SSP Badin Shiraz Nazir provided a detailed briefing. Present at the occasion were Assistant Commissioner Matli Saeed Noor Ahmed Shah, DSP Matli Ejaz Hussain Behan, DSP Shaheed Fazil Rahu Shakeel Ahmed Solangi, SHO Matli Police Station Inspector Ghulam Haider Panhwar, SHO Gulab Laghari Police Station Sub-Inspector Fayaz Ali Barro, SHO Kario Ghanwar Police Station Sub-Inspector Ilawal Khaskheli, and DIB Incharge Inspector Ayaz Ali Memon.
