KARACHI: A meeting to condole the death of Senior Vice-President of National Bank of Pakistan and the Regional Head of Sindh Tariq Akhtar Khan was held at the offices of The Financial Daily International, here Sunday. Executive Director Manzar Naqvi presided over the meeting.
A resolution was adopted by the staff of the TFD in which they expressed their deep sorrow and shock on the sad demise of Tariq Akhtar Khan and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
Tariq Akhtar Khan who breathed his last here Tuesday was laid to rest at a local graveyard. In addition to his colleagues in the National Bank of Pakistan, a large number of people belonging to the Pakistan Banking Industry, security institutions, traders, industrialists, print and electronic media and other echelons of society attended his Nimaz-e-Janaza.
