KARACHI: Director General Public Relations (DGPR), Information Department, Government of Sindh Muhammad Saleem Khan has said that private sector organizations engaged in providing healthcare facilities to patients are rendering commendable services for which they must be recognized by every quarter of our society, says a Press release.
This he said during a visit of Sundas Foundation, an organization engaged in providing state-of-the art health care facilities to the patients suffering from various blood diseases. Irfan Mahar, Faisal Hameed and other office bearers of Sundas Foundation were also present on the occasion.
Director General Information said that the services of Sundas Foundation without any discrimination of caste, creed and religion are laudable. “Their free of cost blood transfusion and blood diseases treatment services are remarkable,” he added.
He said that Sindh Government was attaching top priority to provision of health care facilities to common men throughout the province. “Cyber knife of JPMC, NICVD Centers, Autism Centre, Artificial organs facility, Infectious Disease Hospital NIPA, Abdul Qadir Institute of Gambat are few examples of the unprecedented endeavors of Provincial Government in Health sector, he opined.
He further said that not only the patients from Sindh but other provinces and countries are benefited from these facilities.
He appreciated the initiative of services of Sundas Foundation in Sindh and said this would provide patients with blood diseases a center for treatment.
Director General Sindh Information lauded the role of founder of Foundation and reputed writer Munoo Bhai for making this institute a reality. His vision has led to the establishment of Karachi Centre, he remarked.
Later, Director General PRs visited various sections of the center and asked the mothers of the patients about the facilities being provided to them at the center.
