Dollar falls to 8-month low viz rupee; 37 paisas down

KARACHI: Pakistani rupee continued its winning streak against the US dollar in the interbank and gained another 37 paisas on Friday to bring down the value of the greenback to the level of March 13, 2020.
According to a tweet of the State Bank of Pakistan, the US dollar was opened at Rs159.46 and closed at Rs159.09. Pakistani rupee gained Rs1.17 against the greenback during this week while it was strengthened by Rs1.11 against the dollar last week.
Meanwhile, the liquid foreign exchange reserves of the country stand at $19.35 billion by week ended on October 29, 2020, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said in another tweet. – TLTP
