Dr. Danish Aman Appointed Chief Coordinator of PLGMEA

KARACHI: Dr. Danish Aman has been appointed as Chief Coordinator of the Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PLGMEA) for the term 2026-27.
In his new role, Dr. Danish Aman will work closely with the association’s leadership and members to promote Pakistan’s leather garments industry, strengthen its presence in local and international markets, and facilitate the resolution of issues and challenges faced by manufacturers and exporters.
His responsibilities will include supporting the industry in matters relating to trade promotion, exports, government liaison, international engagement, market development, and the resolution of industry-related issues both locally and internationally.
Dr. Danish Aman expressed his gratitude for the confidence placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to working collectively with the leadership and members of PLGMEA for the growth, development and international recognition of Pakistan’s leather garments sector.
He will work alongside Chairman PLGMEA Syed Shujaat Ali and Patron-in-Chief Fawad Aijaz Khan to strengthen the association and advance the interests of its members.
“Our objective will be to promote Pakistan’s leather garments industry, address the genuine concerns of our members and create greater opportunities for our manufacturers and exporters in international markets.”
