KARACHI: Dow University of Health and Sciences (DUHS) came under an agreement with 1LINK (Pvt.) Ltd, as a biller to digitize bill collection. The strategic alignment with 1LINK will facilitate DUHS to collect online payments of fees from DUHS’s licensee via a wider national payment infrastructure (1BILL) through its 24/7 availability on all member banks, Mobile/Internet Banking, ATMs, and OTC channels, says a Press release.
Present at the occasion were Professor Dr. Muhammad Syed Quraishi, Vice Chancellor Dow University of Health and Sciences, and Mr. Najeeb Agrawalla CEO 1LINK, along with their teams.
Speaking on the occasion Professor Dr. Muhammad Syed Quraishi Vice Chancellor Dow University of Health and Sciences said, “Today we have signed an agreement with 1Link which I think will go a long way in helping our students and customers in their financial transactions in the university, It will also help our, finance directorate in resourcing the amount of money received by the university and transacted by DUHS to the vendors. I hope this will be a successful partnership and I am sure it will ease payment collection obstacles faced by the university.”
