KARACHI: First Combaxx Sindh Taekwondo Poomsae Course and Training Course will be inaugurated here at the Sindh Sports Board Complex, Nazimabad today (April 14).
The course will be conducted by a 5th Dan Korean Master Seonh Oh Chi specially invited to conduct this course in Karachi. The President of Sindh Taekwondo, Kamran Qamar and Chairman Sindh Taekwondo, Faraz Usman and Khaldoon Raja SVP, Nadeem Ahmed and Media Coordinator Kashif Ahmed Farooqui, and
Thanked to Col Waseem President PTF and Omer Saeed patron in chief ST and Zubair Macha for Combaxx Sports for all the support, Collaboration and supervision. They also thanked the sponsors and supporters like Combaxx Sports, Sindh Sports Board.
The course will be attended by 50+ athletes and 15+ Coaches/Referees. The best athletes will be selected for the national camp to be held after Eid.
The course will take place in 2 sessions for 8 days in afternoon and late evening sessions.
Meanwhile the participants will be given certificates at the conclusion of this extensive course which will continue for eight days with double sessions i.e. in the morning and evening on daily basis.
The President of Sindh Taekwondo Association Kamran Qamar has thanked to Col Waseem Janjua President Pakistan Taekwondo Federation and Omar Saeed CEO PTF & Combaxx Sports for all the support, collaboration and supervision.
He said that after these training sessions, those players and officials who will excel at this course will be called to national coaching camp which is scheduled to be held after Eidul Fitr.
He termed this course as unique opportunities for players from across the province and said since Taekwondo is a recognized Olympic Sport, it is not provides opportunity to bring laurels for the country at national and international level but this sports also builds strength, stamina and flexibility, it greatly improves ones overall fitness and well-being.
