During the Federal Minister tour CEO Foodpanda, Nauman Sikander and his team members announced to start drone delivery service in Karachi after four months but facing some regulatory and legislation challenges. They also discussed technological advancement, job creation; investment opportunities and delivery innovations as key benefits to the local economy.

Speaking at the event, Syed Amin Ul Haque, Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication said that challenges turned into opportunities that Foodpanda helping out us when there is the ‘Lock down’ and pandemic is at its peak in the month of February and March. He appreciated Nauman Sikander and his team efforts for generating jobs for youth and assures his Ministry full support .For availing such opportunities connectivity is more important that 84 % Pakistan’s population has cell phone and 49% peoples have the broad band facility but our mission is to provide the cell phone to its all population in order to achieve the vision of our Prime Minister “Digital Pakistan .He much appreciated Foodpanda “Home Chef” initiative by which they empowering women.
