FPCCI blasts drive against institutions

KARACHI: Vice President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Qaisar Khan Daudzai on Monday condemned propaganda against national institutions in the strongest possible terms.
The country is passing through a critical stage and undue criticism against armed forces at this critical juncture amounts to treason, Daudzai added, according to a statement.
Qaisar Khan Daudzai said the business community rejects deadly propaganda against armed forces which is a conspiracy to create a rift between masses and the national security institutions and that businessmen will always support the army unconditionally.
Speaking to the businessmen, he said that every Pakistani condemns the unholy moves to discredit the guardians of ideological and geographical borders.
All Pakistanis should give a strong message that the whole nation stands by the army as the adversaries are cultivating doubts aimed in minds of commoners at weakening the country, he added.
The FPCCI called upon the masses not to succumb to the propaganda and reject the scenario painted by international media and paid think tanks, he said.
In 1947 many politicians and intellectuals described Pakistan as an economically and politically unviable state but it is still existing and will be there till the end of time.
He said, “Over a dozen countries have initiated their proxy wars in Pakistan, therefore, we should support institutions that are fighting for our survival.”
Giving examples of many recent incidents he said that all seems to be part of a conspiracy to defame national institutions of vital importance. Spy agencies of enemy nations have been engaged since long in violent subversive activities to create social and political unrest in Pakistan but so far they have achieved nothing, he further said. – TLTP
