FUUAST’s Syndicate okays appointments of heads & incharges

KARACHI: The 50th meeting of the Syndicate of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of the Urdu University Professor Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari, says a Press release.
The meeting accorded approval of the appointments of the Heads and Incharges of the departments, the M.Phil/PhD degrees conferred in the GRMC, and the leave of teaching and non-teaching staff.
The meeting also taken unanimous decisions on various financial and administrative matters of the university.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Muhammad Zahid Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, Acting Registrar Sadia Khalil, Professor Dr. Masood Mashkoor Siddiqui, Dean, Faculty of Business, Commerce and Economics, Professor Dr. Zarina Ali, Department of Botany, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Sani, Dean, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Dr. Shahid Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Dr. Kamal Haider, Dean, Faculty of Education, Dr. Arifa Ikram, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Danish Ehsan, Acting Treasurer, Ghayasuddin Ahmed, Acting Controller of Examinations.
