Grand Eid-e-Ghadeer celebrations at the Shrine of Masooma-e-Sindh, Khadija Bibi Maham (S.A.) held

AGHAM KOT: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Ghadeer, the Zaireen Khidmat Committee Agham Kot organized a grand annual Milad celebration on Sunday at the sacred shrine of Masooma-e-Sindh, Syeda Khadija Maham (S.A.), daughter of Imam Musa Kazim (A.S.). Separate gatherings for women and men were held with deep reverence and spiritual devotion, says a Press release.
The event was graced by Syed Manzar Naqvi, Secretary General of the Karachi Editors Club, as Chief Guest, and Advocate Abadul Hasnain of the Supreme Court as Guest of Honour from Karachi.
In the women’s Milad session, renowned Zakirat (female religious speakers) and scholars from Badin, Kadhan, and Tando Allahyar delivered insightful speeches emphasizing the significance of Eid-e-Ghadeer and the virtues of the Ahlul Bayt (A.S.).
The central men’s Qasida Khwani gathering featured heartfelt poetic tributes and recitations in honor of the Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) by Shahbaz Ali Lanjwani from Chamber, Abid Hussain Khawaja, Abdul Latif Khawaja, Shehzad Raza Khawaja, and Pyar Ali Premi from Badin, along with Syed Yawar Abbas Shah from Kadhan and other distinguished reciters.
To commemorate the occasion, Munawwar Hussain Khawaja presented a symbolic sword to noted researcher and author Zawar Abdul Sattar Dars, while traditional Ajrak shawls were gifted to dignitaries and honored guests.
The celebrations included ceremonial cake-cutting in both gatherings to mark the joy of Eid-e-Ghadeer. The event concluded with the serving of Niaz (blessed food) to hundreds of male and female attendees by Munawwar Hussain Khawaja and Zawar Niaz Hussain Laghari.
