KARACHI: Even if you have no money but your intentions are right you can do good for the community. This was proven right by Haseen Sarwar, says a Press release.
We met him and here is his story he got some pictures of devastation of flood in Goth Jamali district Jaffarabad Balochistan.
He circulated those pictures among his group and one of his Canadian Pakistani friend Farmuz responded he arranged the finances from his other Canadian friends and in 3 days one truck-load with 100 tents and ration for 100 families moved from Karachi.
The situation was so worse that the whole mission would not have been possible without young group of boys Nabeel and his friends as they volunteered to travel on the truck.
Final 2 km to the village the goods were sent by tractor trolleys as the road was under water.
After this more money was donated by Haseen Sarwar and Farmuz’s friends and family so after 7 days two more trucks were sent to villages in Sindh Qazi Ahmed and Saeedabad with 200 tents and ration for 200 families plus 1000 bottles of drinking water.
God bless Haseen Sarwar and people like him who managed to help the flood victims on his own without having any organization.
