Interfaith Programme at St. Patrick’s School Highlights Message of Unity

KARACHI: St. Patrick’s High & Technical School, Karachi, organized a special interfaith programmed aimed at promoting religious harmony, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence among students from different faiths.
The event was held with the active participation of students, teachers, staff and distinguished guests. The programme highlighted the teachings and values of Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and other faiths, emphasizing the importance of love, kindness, tolerance and brotherhood.
In his address, the Principal welcomed the guests and said that the school believes in building a society where every individual, regardless of religion, feels valued and respected.
Speakers Mr. Fazal Karim Dadabhoy (Honorary Consul General of Ivory Coast), Rev. Fr. Mario Angelo Rodrigues (Principal), Shree Guru Ram Nath Maharaj Mishra (Gadi Nashin) Hanuman Mandir, Karachi on the occasion emphasized the importance of forgiveness, compassion and mutual understanding in society. They pointed out that true harmony can only be achieved when we respect each other’s beliefs and work together for a better tomorrow.
The programmed featured students from different faith backgrounds who shared inspiring messages, prayers and cultural presentations. The highlight of the event was a message of peace and unity, with participants pledging to stand against hatred and separatism.
The Principal praised the students for their cooperation and said that such initiatives help build character, strengthen friendships and create a more inclusive school environment. He added that St. Patrick’s High & Technical School will continue to organize interfaith activities to spread the message of peace, respect and harmony.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, where the management appreciated the efforts of all those who contributed to the success of the programme. The participants left with a renewed sense of unity and the belief that different faiths, united by humanity, can build a more peaceful and prosperous society.
