KARACHI: A grand religious rally in connection with the celebrations of Marka-e-Haq and Sanatan Dharaam was held with great devotion, enthusiasm and religious fervour under the spiritual leadership of Shree Guru Ram Nath Mishra Maharaj, Gadi Nashin of the historic Shree Punch Mukhi Hanuman Mandir, Soldier Bazar No. 3, Karachi.
The event was hosted and spearheaded by Shree Guru Ram Nath Mishra Maharaj Ji, who has been actively serving the Hindu community through religious guidance, social harmony and promotion of peace. The historic Shree Punch Mukhi Hanuman Mandir, believed to be more than 1,500 years old, is regarded as one of the most prominent and sacred Hanuman temples in Karachi. It carries immense religious, cultural and historical significance for the Hindu community of Pakistan and remains a symbol of faith, devotion and spiritual continuity.
The religious rally commenced at 3:00 p.m. from Soldier Bazar and witnessed the participation of a large number of devotees, community elders, youth, women and children. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as participants chanted religious slogans, sang devotional bhajans and expressed their love for Sanatan Dharaam. Representatives of various print and electronic media organizations were also present to cover the event and highlight its religious, cultural and social importance.
The procession passed through different parts of Karachi in a peaceful and disciplined manner. Throughout the journey, devotees conveyed messages of peace, unity, brotherhood, patriotism and interfaith harmony. The rally reflected the positive role of the Hindu community in strengthening social cohesion and promoting mutual respect among people belonging to different faiths and communities.
Upon reaching the Quaid-e-Azam Monument, special prayers were offered for the prosperity, security, peace and stability of Pakistan. The participants expressed their deep love and loyalty for the country and prayed for its continued progress. On this occasion, Shree Guru Ram Nath Mishra Maharaj Ji, along with the devotees, offered special prayers for the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Rangers, Sindh Police and all security institutions serving under the Government of Pakistan.
The participants paid rich tribute to the dedication, commitment and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces and law-enforcement agencies for safeguarding the country and maintaining peace. They said that all communities living in Pakistan stand united for the security, integrity and progress of the motherland.
The religious caravan later proceeded towards Hyderabad, where devotees visited various temples and offered prayers for the well-being of the people of Pakistan. The journey from Karachi to Hyderabad was marked by devotion, discipline and unity. At different points, devotees received a warm welcome from community members and local representatives.
The organizers appreciated the excellent arrangements and cooperation extended by the Sindh Police, Rangers, media representatives and other law-enforcement agencies. Their support, coordination and security arrangements ensured the peaceful and successful completion of the religious celebrations. The participants also thanked the administration for facilitating the rally and maintaining a peaceful environment throughout the event.
A grand concluding ceremony was held at Diyal Das Club, near Press Club Hyderabad, where a large number of devotees, community members, religious personalities and social figures gathered. The programme included cake-cutting ceremonies, Pooja Aarti, devotional bhajans, religious discourses and various cultural and spiritual activities. The ceremony beautifully highlighted the teachings, values and traditions of Sanatan Dharaam.
Religious and community leaders from different areas addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of religious harmony, mutual respect, national unity and peaceful coexistence. Speakers said that Pakistan is a country where different communities have contributed to national development, culture, education, business and public life. They stressed that unity among all citizens is essential for building a peaceful, progressive and prosperous society.
Shree Guru Ram Nath Mishra Maharaj Ji, in his message, said that Sanatan Dharaam teaches peace, compassion, devotion, service to humanity and respect for all. He said that the Hindu community of Pakistan is proud of its religious identity as well as its Pakistani identity, and will continue to play its constructive role for the progress and stability of the country.
The event concluded with special prayers for peace, prosperity and progress in Pakistan. The celebrations reflected the spirit of interfaith harmony, patriotism, religious unity and national solidarity. The rally also showcased the commitment of the Hindu community to promoting brotherhood, peaceful coexistence and communal harmony across the country.
