The Consul General said that there are some elements who want to damage Pakistan-China relations and want to sabotage them, but our relations are such that they are with the people of Pakistan. Our agreement is with Pakistan, and we want this friendship to be strong and deeper. We also wish that our people working in Pakistan should be provided complete protection so that they can perform their duties better.
He said a fool-proof security program should be arranged for them so that no one can think of such intrusions in future. We understand that Pakistan is going through the toughest times, facing economic difficulties as well, but Pakistan has the ability to overcome this difficult period and a time will come when Pakistan will achieve the heights of development, which is the right of the people here.
He said the CPEC will lead the Pakistani people towards happiness. Some obstacles are certainly coming, but they will end soon. Pak-China friendship is eternal and will remain so; the people of both countries are sympathetic to each other, he concluded.
