KARACHI: The Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi, organized its Career Fair Thursday. Around seventy leading national and multinational companies participated in the event. The representatives of these companies interacted with IoBM’s students and alumni. They held career counseling sessions and guided students based on their educational qualifications and skillset. The distinguished guests present at the opening ceremony were Bashir Janmohammed, Chancellor IoBM; Arif Husain Nomani, Group General Manager HR and Administration, Ismail Industries; and Ms. Asma Shaikh, Group Chief, Human Resource Management Group, National Bank of Pakistan. IoBM’s Talib S. Karim, President; Ms. Sabina Mohsin, Executive Director; Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, Acting Rector along with the management met with the representatives of the companies. The participating companies represented Pakistan’s various sectors including education, e-commerce, digital media, advertising, retail, FMCG, banking and finance, among others.
