ISLAMABAD: Communication and leadership skills play a significant role in improving the quality of our personal and professional life. Islamabad Toastmasters Club (ITC) is a healthy & supportive platform, where one can polish his / her communication and leadership skills, says a Press release.
ITC organized its annual Evaluation Speech Contest for the year 2021 here Tuesday where a brave and courageous speaker delivers a speech and is evaluated by multiple contestants. This practice helps us in honoring our feedback skills, something which we need both in personal and professional life.
The contest was held under the leadership of President Islamabad Toastmasters Club, Naureen Fatima, Research Associate NIMA.
Around 15 passionate members participated in the contest to challenge their evaluation skills. These contests are organized to enable the members to control their nerves and gain speaking experience.
Aneel Peter, Partner Peter & Co. Chartered Accountants graced the occasion as Chief Judge. Malik Muhammad Omair, Program Quality Director of Pakistan served as the test speaker. Danyal Ziafat, Sargent at Arm ITC served as the Contest Chair. It was a nail-biting contest. The winners of the contest were: Ali Khan, Noman Abid, and Abrar Ahmed Wani.
