RAWALPINDI: Final arrangements have been completed to observe the International Day of the Demolition of Jannat al-Baqi, established by the Quaid-e-Millat Jafariya Nation Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, on 8th Shawwal, dated Saturday, 28 March, with religious spirit, devotion, and respect. A high-level meeting was held at the central TNFJ Ali Mosque Rawalpindi presided by chief of Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, in which important decisions were made. Secretary General Allama Raja Basharat Hussain Imami, while presenting the report received from Mohsin Raza Zaidi, Convener of the Global Jannat al-Baqi Committee, informed the meeting that against the demolition and deterioration of the shrines and relics of revered personalities respected by all humanity, gatherings, peaceful rallies, and mourning processions will be held in more than two dozen foreign countries as well as in the federal capital and all provinces of Pakistan, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, in all small and large cities and towns. Through these, international organizations and Muslim rulers will be urged to pay attention towards the reconstruction of the shrines of Ahl al-Bayt, the noble companions, and the Mothers of the Believers, and to restore their lost dignity.
Addressing the meeting, chief of TNFJ, Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, urged Muslim rulers to draw the attention of international institutions towards this most important issue. He also called upon the Government of Pakistan to ensure effective security arrangements for the peaceful protest programs on 8th Shawwal and for electronic and print media to provide full coverage. Agha Muqaddasi emphasized that the Muslim world is currently passing through a very sensitive phase; therefore, practical struggle should be intensified from a united platform to bring peace and stability to humanity and the Muslim Ummah. Any aggression or attack on a single Islamic country should be considered an attack on the entire Muslim world; otherwise, each will face its turn one by one. He said that Islam is not merely a formal religion but embodies the spirit of sacrifice and the passion for martyrdom, and it has never permitted oppression and injustice against anyone.
The chief of TNFJ strongly condemned the ongoing imperial aggression against the brotherly Islamic country Iran and demanded from the United Nations, OIC, and human rights organizations to come forward and play their positive role so that the world may become a cradle of global peace. Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi reiterated the firm policy of the Leader of the Jafariya Nation, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Mousavi, that in accordance with the teachings of Amir al-Momineen Hazrat Ali al-Murtaza, we adhere to hatred and condemnation of the oppressor and support and assistance of the oppressed, and no negligence will be shown in this regard. The time will surely come when oppression will end and the flag of justice and fairness will prevail across the world.
Professor Hassan Naqvi, Secretary of the Global Jannat al-Baqi Committee of TNFJ, while presenting the report, stated that in Islamabad, under the arrangement of TNFJ Federal Capital, a Majlis-e-Aza-e-Baqi will be held at 10:00 am as per tradition at Darbar Sakhi Mahmood Badshah near Aabpara on 8th Shawwal, where scholars, speakers, and intellectuals from various schools of thought will address.
