KARACHI: The Secretary General Karachi Editors Club (KEC) , Manzar Naqvi, on behalf of the Karachi Editors Club and in his personal capacity, extend the heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the continued support and goodwill of the Chinese Consul General in Karachi, Yundong Yang towards Pakistan, especially during these challenging times.
In his message, sent Sunday, Manzar Naqvi said: “Your thoughtful engagement and the enduring friendship between China and Pakistan have been a source of strength and reassurance. In the wake of the recent conflict and its resolution through a ceasefire, the solidarity expressed by our trusted friends like China reinforces the deep-rooted bond we proudly call the Pak-China friendship – a relationship truly higher than the mountains and deeper than the oceans.
“We value your efforts in fostering mutual understanding, cooperation, and peace in the region,” he added.
Meanwhile, in his reply to the Secretary General Karachi Editors Club, Manzar Naqvi, Chinese Consul General in Karachi, Yundong Yang reciprocated Manzar Naqvi’s letter terming the message so nice.

He said Pakistan has overcome the difficult time and challenges with the solidarity of its great people under the leadership of government and military forces. As all weather strategic cooperative partner, China has always supported Pakistan in its efforts to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity. We would like to see a prosperous, safe, strong and peaceful Pakistan that would play more important role in the region and the world. I am sure with the concerted efforts of Pakistan’s people, it will be achieved.
China will always stand shoulder by shoulder with Pakistan, he concluded the message with his best wishes.
