KARACHI: SSB Special Games 2022 was organized at NED University Sports Complex under the auspices of Live Sports and Professors Iqbal memorial trust Trust in collaboration with Department of Sports and Youth Affairs Govt., of Sindh, and Pakistan Rangers Sindh at NED University.
The championship was won by KTVC. The event was inaugurated by Olympian Samiullah Khan. Among other guests was Brigadier Sector Commander Bhattai Rangers Sindh Muhammad Shabir Khan.
72 Wing Rangers Wing Commander Musawir Hussain, Major Mohammad Imran Haider, Olympian Islahuddin Siddiqui, Former Test Cricketer Shoaib Mohammad Famous Comedian, Actor Ayaz Khan, NED Vice Chancellor Dr. Soroush Hashmat Lodhi, Engineer Syed Wasiuddin, Dr. Ali Hassan Mahmood Lieutenant Ayesha Saleem and Media Coordinator Kashif Ahmed Farooqui and more than 700 Special Athletes including Principals of 21 Special Schools and Patron of Prof. Iqbal Memorial Trust Fariha Maqsood Vice President Z.H. Khurram were present in the event.
On the occasion, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh Akhtar Inayat Bhargari said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah takes special interest in the welfare of special people, further he said that his Department will continue to cooperate with Prof. Iqbal Memorial Welfare Trust.
Sector Commander Bhattai Rangers Sindh Brigadier Muhammad Shabbir Khan said that we all have to play our positive role in giving special place to special people in the society.
The special guest of the event, Olympian Samiullah Khan, who is also the President of Prof. Iqbal Memorial Trust, said that there is no shortage of talents in special people and Prof. Iqbal Memorial Trust, Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh and the role of Pakistan Rangers is very commendable.
Competition was held in Arm Wrestling, Tug of War, Basketball, Badminton and Boochi.
Among the winners were Olympian Samiullah Khan and Akhtar Inayat Bhargari. Brigadier Muhammad Shabbir Khan. Wing. Cdr. Colonel Musawar Hussain and other personalities distributed medals.
