KARACHI: In a special message issued on the occasion of the 5th International Annual Masooma-e-Sindh Peace and Interfaith Harmony Conference, the Chief Minister Sindh said that the conference is a true reflection of Sindh’s rich spiritual heritage and its centuries-old traditions of tolerance, inclusivity, and peaceful coexistence.
The Chief Minister noted that the conference, dedicated to the revered personality of Syeda Khadija Bibi Maham (SA), daughter of Imam Musa Kazim (AS), highlights the universal values of compassion, humility, and service to humanity. He emphasized that Sindh has always remained a symbol of pluralism, where people of different faiths and cultures have lived together in harmony.
“At a time when societies across the world are facing division and unrest, initiatives like the Masooma-e-Sindh Conference play a vital role in promoting unity, understanding, and collective responsibility,” the Chief Minister said. He added that interfaith dialogue is essential for building bridges between communities and countering intolerance and extremism.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the organizers for bringing together scholars, intellectuals, and faith leaders from diverse backgrounds to promote peace and harmony. He expressed hope that the conference would inspire meaningful dialogue and encourage society to reaffirm its commitment to mutual respect and coexistence.
The 5th International Annual Masooma-e-Sindh Peace and Interfaith Harmony Conference will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 2:30 pm at the Sindh Boy Scouts Auditorium. Renowned Sindhi writer and scholar Zawwar Abdul Sattar, author of 176 books, and Niyaz Hussain Leghari, Chairman of the Zaireen Khidmat Committee, Roza-e-Masooma-e-Sindh, will be among the prominent participants.
The session will be presided over by senior journalist and writer Nazir Leghari. On the occasion, books by Zawwar Abdul Sattar on Raja Dahir and by Nazir Leghari on Iran will also be launched, adding an academic and intellectual dimension to the conference.
