KARACHI: To meet the health and safety needs of frontline workers during these times, Midas Safety donated 2.5 million worth of medical gloves to the Government. The initiative has been taken in support of the country’s efforts to curb the COVID-19 outbreak which has overwhelmed the healthcare sector in Pakistan, says a Press release
Highlighting the efforts, Hussain Kassam, CEO, Midas Safety said, “Two containers of disposable gloves for healthcare workers in the South and North of Pakistan each were handed over to the honourable Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, by the officials of Midas Safety Pakistan. This is in addition to the various Corporate Social Responsibility activities carried out by us which also include donations to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Indus Hospital.”
He further emphasized on the additional safety measures taken by Midas Safety. “In line with our commitment of protecting the working hands of the world, now and in the future, we partner with globally renowned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) brands and extend our pledge to provide consistent quality, innovative solutions, and a wide range of products covering most segments of hand protection.”
