Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury Announce Split After Five Years Together

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, one of the most beloved couples from ITV2’s Love Island, have announced their split after five years together. The news was shared by Hague on her Instagram story to her 7.9 million followers, where she expressed her deep sadness over the breakup and revealed that she would be stepping away from social media for a while.

“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end,” Hague wrote. “After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.” She emphasized her gratitude for their daughter Bambi, who was born in January 2023, stating that Bambi would remain her top priority.

Fury also took to Instagram to share his feelings, describing himself as “heartbroken” and thanking Hague for making him a father. He requested privacy for both their families as they navigate this difficult time, reiterating that their daughter Bambi is their main concern.

The couple, both aged 25, met during the 2019 season of Love Island and quickly became fan favorites. Despite finishing as runners-up, their relationship continued to thrive outside the villa, culminating in their engagement in 2023 during a romantic clifftop proposal in Ibiza. Their journey, including the birth of their daughter, was documented in the recent Netflix series At Home With The Furys, which primarily followed the life of Tommy’s brother, heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Molly-Mae Hague, who hails from Hitchin, Hertfordshire, has become one of the most successful Love Island alumni, boasting the largest social media following among former contestants and serving as the creative director of PrettyLittleThing until last year. Tommy Fury, born and raised in Manchester, has followed in his brother’s footsteps in the boxing world.

The couple’s split has shocked fans, many of whom have followed their relationship closely since their Love Island days. Both Hague and Fury have expressed their commitment to co-parenting Bambi and have asked for privacy as they move forward separately.
