KARACHI: Asia’s first business community owned airline AirSial will start its commercial flights from mid of December 2020 announced by its Chairman Fazal Jelani along with his senior management team in a press briefing held at local hotel of Karachi.
Fazal Jelani, in a Press briefing said that our Sialkot chamber seen a dream in 2014-15 to establish their own airline and today this our dream is turns in to reality that we inducted three Air busses A-320 aircrafts out of which remaining two would be arriving in the coming few days and we are successfully started our domestic flights operations across five cities of Pakistan Karachi, Sialkot, Islamabad, Lahore & Peshawar and later on we start our International flights after COVID-19 to save our country’s valuable foreign exchange which is transferring by foreign Airlines.
Fazal Jelani said that despite of COVID-19 it’s a very difficult challenge but motivational for our Travel and Tourism Industry after looking at our Prime Minister Imran Khan vision. He said that we have immense potential but not been able to utilize due to having lack of resources and employment opportunities. He thanked to MD PIA Arshad Malik for all his support.
President Sialkot Chamber Qaiser Iqbal Brayar discussed the successful projects of Sialkot Chamber of establishing Hospitals and building roads in the city from self-imposed tax which is not seen in any business Chamber in Pakistan.
Vice Chairman AirSial Omer Mir said that we come along here after a long journey and we are not able to disclose our sentiments today. He applauded the role of Special Assistant to Prime Minister Usman Dar’s in helping them out them to start up a new airline. He said that we injected 4 billion business capital in the country’s economy having back-up from our Sialkot Chamber also.
AirSial CEO, Ameen Ahsan shared the innovation aspects of the first domestic Airline having “Digital Engineering” that there will be no chances of technical error in our flight operations and going to be ASF compliance, passenger Safety is our top priority, he concluded.
