ISLAMABAD: The National Highway & Motorway Police reunited a mentally unstable old man of 55-year-old with his legal heirs, says a Press release.
According to details, the officers of Beat-03, Kamra SI/PO Pervez Khan and SI/PO Faisal Umair found a person about 55-year-old during patrolling on Highway. The person was looking mentally unstable. The officers took him in custody, informed Beat Control through wireless and brought him to the Beat Camp.
The Admin Officer Beat-03, IP/SPO Kazi Fateh Ullah dealt him with kindness and asked about his whereabouts. The person told his name as Zulfiqar R/o Sirala Abbottabad. The Admin Officer then contacted Mansehra Police Control to trace out his legal heirs. Through HC Asad, Naib Moharrar of concerned Police Station, the NHMP officers succeeded contacting his real son Khawar and brother Muhammad Bashir. They were called to NHMP Beat-03, Kamra. They informed that Zulfiqar is missing since 15-08-2020 and they have used all means to trace him including advertisement in newspapers. They were very happy on the efforts and sense of responsibility shown by NHMP officers.
After completing all legal formalities, the said person was handed over to his legal heirs. The Inspector General NHMP, Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam appreciated excellent performance of NHMP officers.
The NHMP DIG N-5 North Zone, Muhammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan awarded commendation certificates and cash rewards to concerned police officers and urged them to serve the people with same spirit and dedication.
