NKATI asked to adopt vaccination for workers

KARACHI: Jam Ikramullah Khan Dharejo, Minister for Industries & Commerce Sindh has asked the industrialists of North Karachi Industrial Area to ensure maximum number of their workers to be vaccinated on priority basis to control the corona epidemic and adopt a strategy in factories that will make it necessary for workers to be vaccinated so that Sindh province can be rid of this deadly epidemic.
He said this while addressing a visit to Captain A. Moiz Khan Vaccination Centre at NKATI Welfare Clinic, organized by North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry in collaboration with the Sindh government. Faisal Moiz Khan, President NKATI, Shabbir Ismail, Senior Vice President, Naeem Haider, Vice President, Sajjad Wazir, President NKATI Welfare, Sadiq Muhammad, CEO NKIDMC, Syed Usman Ali, former President & senior member executive committee, Syed Tariq Rashid, Farooq Khatora, chief DMC and other members were also present on this occasion.
Provincial minister appreciated the arrangements for COVID-19 vaccination at NKATI Welfare Clinic and assured all possible cooperation. He said that the steps in this regard are commendable and it is hoped that NKATI Welfare Clinic will continue to work with such spirit.
President NKATI, Faisal Moiz Khan said that NKATI Welfare Clinic is working to provide the best medical services to the workers including the surrounding population. He complained to the provincial minister that the Sindh government was not providing staff, on which the provincial minister issued directives to the Deputy Commissioner Central to provide staff immediately.
On the occasion, Sajjad Wazir, President NKATI Welfare, while highlighting the aims and objectives of NKATI Welfare Clinic, said that workers of North Karachi Industrial Area and adjoining area’s peoples are being vaccinated on a daily basis and it’s growing steadily. He stated that the best medical facilities are available here, which are benefiting the working class, their families and the residents of the surrounding areas.
