Oath Given To The New ACP Governing Body Panel For The Years 2023–2024

KARACHI: Oath-Taking Ceremony of the New Governing Body Panel of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi for 2023-2024 that was held Monday in presence of Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah and Culture Minister Sindh, Syed Sardar Ali Shah.
Murad Ali Shah also inaugurated state-of-the-art Studios 1 & 2, including Cafe D’ Art, Josh Malihabadi Library, and Ahmed Parvez Arts Gallery in Karachi.
Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Culture and Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah participated in the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected President and officials of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sindh said that the Arts Council has played a major role in restoring the splendor of Karachi. Not only Karachi, Pakistan, but people from all over the world come and do events here.
He said that the provincial government is ready to provide full support to the programs of the Sindh Arts Council. I want the Arts Council to be promoted as much as possible.
Chief Minister Sindh said that I congratulate the newly elected representatives of the Arts Council and Sardar Shah is in touch all the time. He said that today I visited Josh Malih Abadi library where I will spend my time studying after my retirement.
The Chief Minister of Sindh inaugurated two studios, a library, a coffee shop and a gallery. The Chief Minister of Sindh also administered the Oath to the newly elected governing body.
Provincial Minister for Culture and Education Sindh Syed Sardar Shah while speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of the officials of the governing body of the Arts Council of Pakistan said that the Art Council of Pakistan has become the cultural hub of the country in the true sense.
He congratulated the newly elected members and said that the events of the Arts Council in other cities of the country will be promoted with the message of Sindh as this is the era of cultural diplomacy.
Sardar Shah said that arts councils have been formed at the divisional level in Sindh. We need to create a countercultural narrative in this age of intolerance. He expressed hope that the Arts Council will continue to play its better role for the promotion of cultural activities.
