ISLAMABAD: Federal government has increases fixed charges for domestic gas consumers by 50 percent and OGRA has issued notification in this regard.
According to a notification, fixed charges for protected domestic gas consumers has been increased from Rs 400 to Rs 600 while fixed charges for non-protected domestic consumers increased by up to Rs 1,000.
The fixed charges for non-protected gas consumers up to 1.5 HM increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500. The fixed charges for non-protected gas consumers above 1.5 HM increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000.
OGRA claimed that gas prices for domestic consumers have not been increased. New gas prices will be applicable from July 1, 2025. – NNI
