DUBAI (UAE): The Pakistan Association Dubai Toastmasters Club hosted a highly successful event titled “Public Speaking and Leadership Skills” at the Pakistan Association Dubai. The event provided an excellent platform for the local community to enhance their public speaking abilities and leadership skills.
Featuring both local and renowned speakers, the event offered participants a range of workshops and networking opportunities. Attendees had the chance to engage with fellow members and speakers, creating a dynamic learning environment.
“This event not only provides an opportunity to develop speaking and leadership skills but also an opportunity to become part of a powerful and supportive community.” Club President, Toastmaster Abid Hussain said.
Special highlights of the event included: Best Speaker: Toastmaster Jawad Salahuddin; Best Evaluator: Toastmaster Umair; Best Table Topic: Guest Rashif.
A key moment of the gathering was the swearing-in ceremony for the new leadership team for 2024-2025, administered by Area Director Toastmaster Wafa Khan. The new leadership includes: President: Toastmaster Abid Hussain; Vice President Education: Toastmaster Jawad Salahuddin; Vice President Membership: Toastmaster Essa Laghari; Vice President Public Relations: Toastmaster Mohammad Umair; Secretary: Toastmaster Amra Shah; Treasurer: Toastmaster Asadullah Khan; Sergeant at Arms: Toastmaster Farooq Gujjar.
Participants expressed their appreciation for the event and expressed hope for similar opportunities in the future.
