Today, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, engaged in a telephonic conversation with Congressman Tom Suozzi, a prominent member of the Congressional Pakistan Caucus. The discussion focused on enhancing Pak-US relations and deepening bilateral cooperation.
During the call, Congressman Suozzi congratulated Ambassador Sheikh on assuming his role as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States. Ambassador Sheikh emphasized the importance of Pak-US relations for both nations and the broader region, noting the positive trajectory of their bilateral ties. He expressed Pakistan’s commitment to leveraging this goodwill to further strengthen multifaceted relations, particularly in the economic sphere.
Ambassador Sheikh also extended his gratitude to Congressman Suozzi for his warm wishes on Pakistan’s Independence Day. In turn, Rep. Suozzi commended the Pakistani community in the United States for their significant contributions to strengthening Pak-US relations and their service to the country.
