SHARJAH (UAE): During the holy month of Ramadan, where Pak Social Center Sharjah distributed rations among hundreds of needy families, a special event and a grand Iftar dinner was also organized in connection with March 23rd bringing together key Pakistani diplomats, business leaders, and community representatives.
The special guests of the evening included Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, and Consul General Hussain Muhammad, alongside Consulate officials Visa Consul Nabeel Rasheed, Press Counsellor Muhammad Saleh, and Welfare Counsellors Junaid Murtaza and Imran Shahid. Khalid Hussain Chaudhry warmly welcomed the distinguished guests.
During the event, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Consul General Hussain Muhammad, and Khalid Hussain Chaudhry highlighted the spiritual significance of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of piety, blessings, and strengthening one’s connection with Allah.
The Iftar dinner was attended by prominent business and community figures, including Raja Muhammad Sarfaraz, Engineer Zubair Khan, Muhammad Ghaus Qadri, Faraz Siddiqui, Imran Aslam, Zeeshan Shani, Safeer Satti, Malik Aslam, Khalil Boneri, Taimoor Afridi, Irfan Afsar Awan, Colonel Naseer Anjum, Aamir Niazi, Haji Muhammad Yaseen, Jamshed Abbas, Muhammad Younis,Nafees-ul-Hasan, Akbar Mughal, Khalid Ghouri,Chaudhry Abdul Ghaffar, Muhammad Younis, Abdul Razzaq, Sher Ali, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Sohail Aamir, Maqbool Anjum, Umar Baloch , Arif Minhas, Sagheer Chaudhry, Hameed Khattak, Waqar Khan and many others.
A special highlight of the evening was the cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate Pakistan Day (March 23rd), followed by a heartfelt prayer led by Dr. Akram Shehzad.
The event served as a platform to foster unity and strengthen community ties among Pakistanis in the UAE, reinforcing the cultural and religious significance of Ramadan.
