Since April 24, 2025, both countries have suffered losses in terms of military personnel, equipment, and civilian casualties. A ceasefire effort led by Donald Trump was accepted by both nations on the evening of May 10, 2025, bringing an end to the war. However, India faced significant losses along with humiliation on the international stage.
According to a report by Dr. Syed Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, Professor of International Relations at the University of Peshawar, India’s total losses amount to approximately 88.6 billion US dollars, a substantial figure in modern warfare. India lost six fighter jets, including Rafale, MiG-21, and Su-30, and several military bases and airfields were damaged. This loss is effectively a defeat and a humiliation on all international fronts. However, the humiliation did not stop there, as their media left no stone unturned in contributing to national disgrace.
During the war, Indian media became the subject of jokes and memes worldwide due to their false reporting, illogical propaganda, and misinformation at unprecedented levels. For instance, one of their news channels claimed that the Indian Navy had entered Faisalabad and Lahore seaports-a claim that made no sense, as neither city has a seaport or coastal boundary. Pakistani social media users were surprised by this statement, recognizing its absurdity.
Major (Retd) Gaurav Arya, one of the top journalists on Republic Media, has been labeled an idiot by international media due to his fabricated statements and apparent desire to remain in the news. A few years ago, his abusive remarks about the Iranian foreign minister triggered a diplomatic row between Iran and India.
Now, regarding the Indian government, which is under the direct control of RSS extremists – instead of re-evaluating their stance and abandoning their hostile ideology toward Muslims and Pakistan, the Modi government and the BJP party continue to claim victory and suggest that war is still imminent – primarily to save face before the public.
Now, the question arises: What’s next? The answer is simple – India will likely attempt another misadventure in the near future because the BJP is a racist and extremist party driven by hatred toward Muslims and Pakistan. Traditionally, events like Pulwama and Pahalgam have been used by the BJP as excuses to blame Pakistan and attack its sovereignty-their sole purpose being to secure electoral victories.
From Pakistan’s side, its stance is clear. As a responsible Muslim nuclear state, Pakistan will never compromise on its sovereignty and will deliver a befitting response to the enemy on all fronts. In times of war, the nation remains united in protecting the country, and it will do the same if the enemy attempts another attack in the near future.
