KARACHI: Special Assistant to Prime Minster on CPEC Affairs Khalid Mansoor has said that Pakistan is promoting regional connectivity and Economic Integrity through CPEC and one of the fortunate destination for industrial hub due to its geographical location, when he was addressing in CPEC industrial Cooperation B2B Investment Conference organized by Board of Investment on Monday at local hotel of Karachi.
He said that technological agricultural revolution is in progress to produce raw material for industrial production. He clarified that CPEC is not only Chinese Centric, it’s open for all the world. There are more than 147 Chinese Companies operating in Pakistan, transforming our economy.
Earlier, Chairman Board of Investment Azfar Ahsan who is a global influencer and Change Activist in his welcome address said that today’s conference has significant importance for investment to promote CPEC and bi-lateral relations. He stressed the need for the continuity of the present government for consistent economic reforms.
Secretary BOI, Fareena Mazhar discussed the “Investment regime in Pakistan “and said that BOI is declared as the lead agency for CPEC projects for facilitation and industrial Cooperation, providing the conducive environment to investors.
Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood, Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah Chief Secretary Government of Sindh, Consul General of China in Karachi Li Bijian, CEO, Service Long March Tyres Pvt. Ltd., Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Ikram Ullah Dharejo also addressed the Conference participants.
