KARACHI: Pakistan proudly recognizes its first female Ph.D. in Blue Economy as Ms. Urooj Aijaz, a faculty member at Bahria University Karachi, who completed her research titled “Blue Economy of Pakistan: Investigating the Impact of Tourism, Environment and Technology on Blue Growth.” She earned her Ph.D. from Jinnah University for Women and her work highlights the drivers and barriers of blue growth in Pakistan, emphasizing Blue Education as a key contribution.
