KARACHI: Officials and members of Pakistan Association of Press Photographers have expressed their gratitude for the annual grant given by the Sindh government and said that it is hoped that the Sindh government will continue to support photographers in the future will support in the sector, says a Press release.
Director General Sindh Information Department Mohammad Saleem Khan, Director Advertising Mohammad Yusuf Kaburu, Deputy Director Advertising Sarang Latif Chandio, President of Pakistan Association of Press Photographers Mohammad Jameel, General Secretary Noman Nizami after receiving the annual grant check issued by them.
It has been said in the statement that undoubtedly the Sindh government has always played its role for journalists, especially Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has always stood with the journalist community. We appreciate his good deeds and hope that he will spare no effort in solving the problems and problems of journalists in the future.
He also thanked the provincial government for transporting Khan to Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi by air ambulance and bearing all the expenses of the treatment and said that we value this good spirit.
Earlier, Director of Advertising Yusuf Kabaru, Deputy Director of Advertising Sarang Latif Chandio said that we are aware of the bitter reality that photographers are suffering from economic crisis and despite the extreme heat they are unable to perform their professional duties. Don’t back down. It should be noted that Joint Secretary Pep Muhammad Azim and Khazan Syed Imran Ali were also present on the occasion of receiving the cheque.
