Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met on Wednesday to discuss the political and economic landscape of the country. During the meeting, Shehbaz lauded the PPP’s role as a key ally in supporting the government’s efforts to strengthen the national economy.
The prime minister also praised Bilawal’s proposal for a “Charter of Parliament,” stating that it would reinforce democracy and the parliamentary system. The PPP delegation expressed confidence in the government’s economic policies, a sentiment welcomed by Shehbaz.
Key officials in attendance included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, PPP leaders Syed Naveed Qamar and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, and the attorney general.
