ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has said the healthcare system of country requires reformation with particular focus on disease prevention as the concept of disease management is changing from curative to preventive.
He stated this during a presentation given by vice chancellor of Health Services Academy Dr Assad Hafeez here on Thursday.
The President directed the management of HSA to improve liaison and coordination with the provincial health departments so that they could benefit from the expertise of Health Services Academy.
Separately, President Dr Arif Alvi has paid condolence over the death of former governor of Balochistan and MPA Syed Fazal Agha.
In a tweet on Thursday, the President prayed for the departed soul. He tweeted, “I would like to condole the death of Syed Fazal Agha, former Governor of Balochistan and Member Provincial Assembly. May his soul rest in peace.” – TLTP
