SHARJAH: Khalid Hussain Chaudhry, President Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah and Advisory Director Pakistan Business Council Sharjah, led a six-member delegation to the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to extend facilitation to the newly elected President Sardar Tahir Mehmood.
During the visit, Chaudhry highlighted the successes of the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah and the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah in promoting trade and investment ties between Sharjah and Pakistan. He expressed his commitment to further strengthen business collaboration between the two regions and showcased potential areas of cooperation.
Sardar Tahir Mehmood welcomed the delegation and apprised them of ICCI’s role in promoting economic activities through its advocacy efforts. He informed the guests about the Chamber’s plans to organize an industrial exhibition in Islamabad and to establish a state-of-the-art expo centre to make the capital a business hub.
Both leaders agreed to work together to enhance business relations between Sharjah and Islamabad. Khalid Chaudhry further said that he will arrange a visit of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry office bearers to ICCI and will arrange B2B meetings and business opportunity conferences.
The visit concluded with a commitment to strengthen trade and investment ties between Pakistan and Sharjah, and to work together to promote economic growth and development in the region.
On this occasion Senior Vice President ICCI Tahir Ayub, Vice President Mohammad Irfan Chaudhry and former Executive Member Rana Qaisar Shehzad were also present.
