Prince Harry voices concerns over location restrictions for the WellChild event.

According to Express.co.uk, Harry’s team instructed the event organizers to keep the venue confidential, only sharing it with a small, trusted group due to fears that the Duke could become a target.

A source stated, “Harry remains very worried about his security in the UK, and his team requested that the location be kept secret until the day of the event.”

The source added that while it’s one thing for Harry to attend private events like family gatherings or funerals, publicizing his appearances increases security risks. “When an event becomes widely known, it poses a risk, so the team has restricted the location to a need-to-know basis.”

This decision follows Harry’s controversial admission in his memoir Spare, where he revealed killing 25 Taliban fighters during his military service in Afghanistan.

“The reason for Harry’s elevated security concern stems from comments he’s made about the Taliban,” the source explained. “As a result, he has become a potential target.”

Last month, Harry traveled from the US to attend a memorial service for his late uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, at St. Mary’s Church in Norfolk. During that visit, he stayed with his uncle, Earl Spencer, at the Althorp estate. However, reports indicate that the UK Home Office did not provide full security support for the trip, as it did not meet the 28-day notice period required for security arrangements.
