KARACHI: Realme has invested over Rs 50 billion in Pakistan over the period of last five years, said Asma Hayat – spokesman Realme.
Talking to the media at the launch of the realme C75 smartphone, she said that Realme will continue to invest in Pakistan for further expansion in operations.
Realme has established its 100 percent assembly facility in Pakistan to enhance its production at a local level. More than 400 Pakistani staff are working in the local operations, and more people will be provided jobs as a result of fresh investment for expansion of its operations in Pakistan.
She mentioned that the assembling of smartphones enabled Realme to produce affordable smartphones with multiple cutting-edged features and innovative specifications for local markets.
Pakistan is a very important market for Relame that has stretched its market share from 3 to 11 percent within the last year, leaving behind the leading brands in the race.
Our monthly sales picked from 70,000 units of last year to 150,000 units sales this year, she said and added. Karachi is the biggest market with a number of sales stood at 40,000 per month.
Pakistan is a very important market for Realme with huge demand of smartphones despite staggering growth in supplies, Asma Hayat, Manager Public Relations said.
Realme will continue to tap the potential of the local market on a priority basis and then will shift to export in the next phase.
Talking about the new smartphone C75, she briefed the media about the new variant has been introduced with the latest security features– unbreakable and water resistance which will make this variant as unique and high demanding, she added.
