KARACHI: Manzar Naqvi, Executive Editor ‘The Financial Daily’ presented his recent Travelogue “Amazing China” to Zaigham M. Rizvi Chairman, PM Housing Task Force, and Adviser, Ministry of Science & Technology, Expert Consultant Affordable Housing & Energy Poverty, Secretary General Asia Pacific Union for Housing Finance (APUHF) who visited TFD offices, here Friday.
Zaigham Rizvi has started recording a series of programmes on Housing requirements of Pakistanis and its possible solution for TFD News Youtube channel of “The Financial Daily” to be uploaded shortly.
Zaigham Rizvi is currently the Chairman of New Pakistan Housing Program to build 5 million housing units. Zaigham Rizvi is also serving as Secretary General of Asia-Pacific Union of Housing Finance. Zaigham is GCC Adviser to Affordable Housing Institute (AHI), USA. He serves as an Expert Consultant on Housing and Housing Finance to international agencies including World Bank/IFC. Over the years Zaigham has developed a passion for Low-Cost Affordable Housing for Economically Weaker Sections of the society, addressing housing supply and housing finance issues, with a regional focus on Asia-Pacific and MENA regions. Zaigham has authored PTI Housing Policy as well as PTI Policy for Persons with Disabilities. He has also a passion to address growing challenge of Energy Poverty mainly through Solar Power and is currently involved with “Lighting Global Program” of IFC with a focus on “Lighting Pakistan”.
