Saudi Arabia, UAE, Canada Expel Dozens of Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD: Nearly 100 Pakistanis have been deported from six countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Canada, due to immigration and legal violations, sources confirmed.

Deportations from Saudi Arabia

Saudi authorities expelled:

  • 5 blacklisted individuals
  • 13 beggars
  • 5 overstayers who remained beyond their visa duration
  • 16 individuals for violating contract terms
  • 23 absconding workers
  • 13 Pakistanis for working without a sponsor (Kafeel)

Deportations from Other Countries

  • Canada: 1 Pakistani was deported for overstaying their visa.
  • Iraq: 7 individuals were expelled for illegal residence.
  • UAE: 1 Pakistani was deported due to lack of proper documentation, while 9 others were released from jail and then sent back.
  • Oman, Somaliland, and UAE: 3 blacklisted Pakistanis were expelled.

Passengers Offloaded at Karachi Airport

Immigration authorities at Karachi Airport offloaded 47 passengers due to visa and travel documentation issues. Among them:

  • 3 blacklisted individuals
  • 2 passengers (including a female) travelling to the UK on student visas
  • 1 passenger with a UK visit visa
  • 1 passenger traveling to Turkey on a festival visa (failed to prove event connection)
  • 19 Umrah pilgrims (lacked hotel bookings and financial proof)
  • 2 passengers with work visas for Saudi Arabia (blacklisted status)
  • 2 travelers with arrival visas for the Maldives and Liberia
  • 1 passenger with a South African residence permit (lacked identification)
  • 2 travelers with work visas for Guyana
  • 2 individuals with tourist visas for Ghana
  • 4 travelers heading to Tanzania and Malawi on tourist and work visas
  • 5 individuals with tourist visas for Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia

Authorities continue to tighten immigration enforcement, preventing travel for individuals without proper documentation or valid financial proof.
